CEU Tracker Pro is a product of TheCubbyStop, operated by Gigglemite Designs, a division of Gigglemite LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use CEU Tracker Pro and our website at ceutracker.thecubbystop.com.

1. Our Core Principle

CEU Tracker Pro is built on a simple idea: your data belongs to you. All of your data — licenses, CEU logs, certificates, reports, and settings — is stored directly in your personal Google account (Google Sheets, Google Drive, and Google Apps Script Properties). We do not maintain a database of user information. We do not store your data on our servers. We never see, access, or transmit your professional or personal data.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide voluntarily: If you contact us through our support page or contact form, we receive your name, email address, and message content. This information is used solely to respond to your inquiry.

Payment information: If you purchase CEU Tracker Pro, your payment is processed by LemonSqueezy. We do not collect, store, or have access to your credit card number, billing address, or other payment details. LemonSqueezy provides us only with your name, email, and transaction confirmation.

Automatically collected information: Our website may collect standard web analytics data, including your IP address, browser type, device information, and pages visited. This data is not linked to your personal identity.

Information we do NOT collect: We do not collect, store, access, or process any data you create within CEU Tracker Pro. This includes your license information, CEU course records, certificates, reimbursement data, goals, notes, reports, or any other content. All of this resides entirely within your Google account.

3. Google Account Access

CEU Tracker Pro requires you to sign in with your Google account and grant specific permissions so the tool can function. The app requests the following Google API scopes:

  • Google Sheets (spreadsheets) — To read and write your CEU log, license data, category rules, and profile information in a Google Sheet stored in your Drive.
  • Google Drive (drive.file) — To create and manage the spreadsheet and to upload and organize certificates, receipts, and other files you attach to your entries. This scope is limited to files created or opened by the app — it cannot access other files in your Drive.
  • Google Docs (documents) — To generate audit reports, tax summaries, and compliance documents as formatted Google Docs saved to your Drive.
  • Google Calendar (calendar) — To sync license renewal deadlines and course due dates to your Google Calendar, if you choose to use this feature.
  • Send Email (script.send_mail) — To send you weekly renewal deadline reminder emails from your own Google account, if you enable this feature in Settings. These emails are sent by the app running under your account — not from our servers.
  • Email Address (userinfo.email) — To identify your account and pre-fill your email address for the reminder feature.

These permissions are:

  • Used solely for the purposes described above
  • Processed entirely within your Google account — our servers are never involved
  • Revocable at any time through your Google Account settings at myaccount.google.com/permissions

4. Email Reminders

If you enable weekly email reminders in Settings, CEU Tracker Pro will send you status emails about your license renewals and upcoming deadlines. These emails are:

  • Sent from your own Google account (via Google Apps Script's MailApp service)
  • Generated using your license and CEU data stored in your Google Sheet
  • Never routed through our servers — the email is composed and sent entirely within your Google account
  • Disableable at any time from Settings → Email Reminders

We never receive, read, or store the contents of these emails.

5. How We Use Information

The limited information we do collect is used to:

  • Respond to your support inquiries
  • Process your purchase through LemonSqueezy
  • Understand general usage patterns of our website
  • Improve CEU Tracker Pro and the user experience
  • Communicate with you about product updates if you've opted in

6. Third-Party Services

CEU Tracker Pro and our website interact with the following third-party services:

  • Google APIs (Sheets, Drive, Docs, Calendar, Gmail) — All tool data is stored in and processed by your Google account. Google Privacy Policy
  • Google Apps Script — The runtime environment that powers CEU Tracker Pro, executing under your Google account

  • YouTube (Google) — Tutorial videos embedded on our sales page

7. Data Security

Because your data is stored in your own Google account, it benefits from Google's enterprise-grade security infrastructure, including encryption in transit and at rest. For the limited data we do handle (support inquiries and purchase confirmations), we use secure transmission methods and restrict access to authorized personnel only.

8. Children's Privacy

CEU Tracker Pro is designed for working professionals managing continuing education requirements. It is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

9. Cookies & Local Storage

Our sales page website may use essential cookies for basic functionality and analytics. CEU Tracker Pro itself stores your preferences (theme, font size, profession settings) in Google Apps Script's PropertiesService, which is tied to your Google account — not in browser cookies. No preference data is transmitted to us.

10. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access all of your data at any time — it's in your Google Drive and Google Sheet
  • Export your data by downloading your Google Sheet or Drive files
  • Delete all data created by CEU Tracker Pro by removing the Google Sheet and Drive folder from your account
  • Revoke access at any time through your Google Account permissions
  • Disable email reminders at any time from Settings within the app
  • Request deletion of any support or purchase data we hold by emailing us
  • Opt out of any marketing communications at any time

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. If we make material changes, we may notify you through the app or by email.
